1. There is something new coming up in Google search: “onebox“.

What is it and how it works? First of all, for now it works only for larger, trusted sites. When you search Google for information, you may encounter another search box right under the listing of the site you were considering checking. Enter more info in that box and see if the site holds the answer.

For example: you know somewhere on my site should be a post about new United Airlines policy on second bag. If you were to enter these words into that box, it would get to a post, which contains that info.

Please, read a short source article from  Blogoscoped for more visual guidance and be prepared for the new way of getting your information.

Meanwhile, if you know which site contains the information you need, simply type in the search box your “query+site name”. You should get all the possible combinations of your inquiry connected with this site.

2. “Is your inbox so cluttered that it’s become hard to find important messages? Gmail’s filters are a great way to automatically organize your email as it arrives.
If unread messages in your inbox are still hidden by other mail, it’s easy to find them by searching for :unread label:inbox. You can search for unread messages with other labels, too - just replace “inbox” with the label in question.”

3. “Do you juggle multiple email accounts? You can consolidate them with Gmail, so you can check and save all your mail in one place. To get started, sign in to Gmail, click on “Settings”, then “Accounts”:
To fetch mail your mail, configure the “Get mail from other accounts” section.
To send mail with your other addresses, configure the “Send mail as” section.”
