Dream it! Make It! Wear It! is the motto of this coming up soon LA store.
Fashionologyla is an interactive store for girls 7-14(tweens, as in between), who are ready for a unique fashion experience, where they design, implement changes, accessorize and submit a finished product (such as clothes to wear), in a certain style offered by a store and chosen by a tween designer; and then have their creation displayed for the whole store to see on 70″ TV screen. Boys, of course, should not be excluded. There is a reason why we have so many male designers. Who knows, maybe this new business will discover many talents and shape many destinies.
If Elizabeth Wiatt and Jamie Tisch, who created the concept of combining creativity and fashion in such a way, that young designers can see fruits of their labor almost immediately, decide to distribute their software for anybody to buy, practice and mail the design in, it would be a great present for a child away from school, and not only during summer.
I would not be surprised, if the proprietors find themselves fending off a few adult visitors, who wish to try their hand at designing clothes…
